Thursday off the highway
The weather outside was frightful, but inside my newly repaired Prius it was so delightful.
Still, it took longer to get to Illinois, and so once more tonight I’m going back a year to share a devotion.
Marc and Evie came over tonight a couple hours after I got home to watch Illinois lose to Northwestern (ugh!). And they brought shrimp pad thai, Mongolian beef and phu from Siam Terrace.
Here’s the thing: well, just look at the title from last year on January 25.
I am so glad to get out of the rain and fog! And to get to Illinois a day after the awful ice melted away. Count my blessings, name them one by one.
